I grew up in sunny Southern California. My first career was in the home care business. I learned attention to detail and developed my listening skills as the Director of Business for a multi-million dollar home care agency. While in that business I also started buying investment properties. All the homes were “handyman specials,” so I learned first hand the details of home ownership, remodeling, renting and then selling. Investing started my passion for real estate and desire to become an agent.
From Southern California I moved to Tucson to be a partner in opening a restaurant. If you have ever worked in the restaurant business you know that it can be a real skill builder too. It requires that same attention to detail and listening skills that helped me in the home care business. In addition to the restaurant business, I got my REALTOR’s license in Tucson and sold over $8 million in real estate while continuing to buy rental property and learn more about real estate investments.
Now Austin, Texas is “MY HOME”. And yes I have investment properties here too along with the ones in San Diego and Tucson. I love the fact that my real estate learning continues! The skills and self-discipline I have from previous businesses and now the real estate business are instrumental in helping me help agents to reach their goals.
