I was born in Germany and lived in 8 different cities before I turned 12! That will happen when you have a father in the military. I grew up from the age of 12 in Killeen, TX, just one hour north of Austin. Because we moved so much, it helped that my mother was a licensed Real Estate Broker. The running joke in my household was “Once you turn 16, you get a car but you have to help Mom with her business.” So that’s what I did! At 16 years old I was opening property for inspectors, appraisers, running contracts to and from title companies... anything I could do without having a Real Estate license myself.
When I turned 17 my family decided to move to New Mexico. Having already finished high school, I went along for the ride. There I worked in the restaurant industry while attending college. I quickly became a trainer for the restaurant chain and decided to take a position in Austin.
Being back in Central Texas re-ignited my passion for Real Estate, so I obtained my license in 2003 and joined the JBGoodwin team. I can’t tell you how happy I have been with my decision! One of my favorite things about this industry is the ability to meet and help new people practically everyday. I also enjoy the flexibility it allows. One of my passions is travel, so being able to plan trips with my partner of 10 years is important to me, and working in Real Estate allows me that opportunity.
I have been a part of the JBGoodwin family since 2003. My first year I was named Rookie of the Year in the Westlake Office, and have since gone on to become one of the top agents there. Now, as the Sales & Leasing Manager, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with our agents to help them become successful in all aspects of Real Estate.
