About Annemarie Diaz

I have a passion for helping people and families, and believe that home ownership is one of the greatest assets for an individual, a couple, or a family with children or older parents. And not just any home, the right home, a home that fits in a family's budget, and provides their needs in terms of space, utility, and aesthetic.

 

Born and raised in Minnesota, I landed in Central Texas in 2002 by way of Cameroon (Central Africa) after spending over two years serving in the United States Peace Corps as a Water and Sanitation Engineer.

 

I owned my first home as a single woman in my 30's, a small 2 bedroom/1 bathroom home in Austin. It is still an asset to our family today. My husband and I own a residential building and remodeling company that specializes in turnkey kitchen, bath, whole home remodeling and home additions. Along with that business, I found a special passion for helping families to define their home priorities and needs, and to help achieve them. To better serve our clients, I became certified in Universal Design, a way of assessing and designing a home or other environment so that it can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability.
