About Julie Wood

Hi, I’m Julie Wood, a native Texan and longtime Austinite. Like so many others, I moved here to attend the University of Texas, fell in love with the city and never left.

 

After UT, I started my career in the mortgage industry, and that experience helped me tremendously when buying my first home in Northwest Austin almost 20 years ago. Buying or selling a home is exciting, but the process can be overwhelming. As a real estate agent with JBGoodwin REALTORS®, my goal is to make the process less intimidating so you feel confident navigating today’s market. It starts with understanding your needs, where you are in the process, and what you need from an agent. The company’s mission statement is “Help People” and that’s why I joined. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell or lease, or just curious about your options, I’d love to start the conversation. 

 

Prior to my real estate career, I spent over 15 years in various technology roles, most recently as Global Head of Product and Project Management for a commodities firm. At its core, my job was understanding customer needs and building tailored solutions. Today I bring that customer-centric approach to my real estate business.    

 

Outside of real estate, I enjoy exploring the amazing parks that our beautiful city has to offer. You’ll often find me hiking at Bull Creek with my two dogs, Pepper and Hugo. In addition to the outdoors, I love supporting local artists at the many art galleries and festivals in town.
