Hi, I’m Vanessa McIntosh, and I’m excited to be part of the JBGoodwin REALTORS® family as a Relocation Coordinator.
I’ve always been drawn to work that brings together people, organization, communication, and follow-through. In my role, I help support relocation referrals from start to finish, including tracking incoming and outgoing referrals, connecting clients with the right agents, maintaining referral details, and keeping communication moving between agents, broker partners, and relocation contacts.
Before joining JBGoodwin, I gained experience in relocation coordination, administrative support, education, and client-centered service. I also spent time working with children on the autism spectrum, which strengthened my patience, attention to individual needs, communication skills, and ability to support people through transitions with care and consistency. That experience continues to shape how I approach my work today.
Relocation is also personal to me. My family’s military journey took us through several moves and five different states, giving me a firsthand understanding of the excitement, stress, and adjustment that come with starting over somewhere new. Texas has always been home, though, and we have always found our way back.
Having moved many times myself, I know that relocation is about more than finding a house. It is about finding your footing, your rhythm, and eventually, your sense of home.
Relocation feels like a natural fit because every referral represents someone navigating an important life change. Whether a client is moving across town, across the country, or starting over somewhere new, I enjoy being part of the behind-the-scenes process that helps make the next step feel smoother and more supported.
I live in Central Texas with my family, and outside of work I enjoy reading, learning new things, spending time with my kids, and continuing my studies in psychology with a focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I’m especially interested in the connection between people, systems, service, and communication, which is a big part of why I enjoy relocation so much.
I’m grateful to be part of JBGoodwin and to support a department that helps people feel cared for, connected, and confident through the moving process.
